The Girl Named Emily #storytime

There was a girl named Emily, she loved to play with her one and only friend.
Despite the fact that Emily saw her friend everyday, she felt lonely.. she felt like her inner-self was invisible to her friend.
Emily wanted her friend to notice her feelings, so she ended up using all different kinds of solutions.

Emily wanted to help her friend, so she took her friend's dog out for a walk,
Emily ended up being attacked by her friend's dog..

Emily wanted to give her friend a gift , so she began to draw something,
Emily ended up to trip over crayons and hit her head..

Emily wanted to clean her friend's room while her friend was at school, so she started to move big objects to their own places,
Emily ended up being played and nibbled by the house's cat..

Emily wanted to escort her friend back from school, so she took umbrella (because of the rain) and went outside,
Emily ended up drowning into the puddle because she couldn't open the umbrella, and that's because she was too little for holding that big umbrella..

Emily heard some footsteps while she was inside the puddle,
they got closer, closer and closer.. until they stopped.
Emily heard a familiar voice; "what you're doing there?"
It was her friend coming back from school.
Rain was still dropping fast and it danced on her friend's raincoat..
Her friend reached out for her and took Emily in her warm arms.
-"It's warm", Emily thought while her friend started carrying her home.

Fire was dancing beautifully in the fireplace when Emily was brought a hot cocoa,
-"What you were doing outside in the rain?", Emily's friend asked..
..Emily didn't answer
-"Were you feeling lonely?", her friend continued..
..Emily still didn't answer
Her friend smiled a little bit and drank her hot cocoa
Emily was being totally quiet as she kept watching into the fireplace,
Such a beautiful living thing that fire was, so beautiful that even the shadows, what it made onto the floor, were imitating the best of they could..

On that evening when Emily and her friend went to sleep, Emily was feeling slightly plaintive
because her efforts for showing her feelings to her one and only friend were badly failed..
Emily was feeling like she was standing right in front of a deadlock..

Couple of years after Emily's friend's family was going to move abroad,
Emily had never felt as sad as she felt back then,
and nothing hadn't changed in these past years..
Emily was in the attic where her friend had just left her without saying a word,
there was no way Emily could have stopped her friend even for a moment,
she just sat there watching her friend's back as it moved away from her.
Right before her friend shut the door Emily wanted to open her mouth and say something so badly!
So badly that it hurt..
The door shut and the attic was dark and quiet..
..somehow Emily was feeling a warm ..drop on her cheek ..."Tear..? Am I crying?", Emily thought, but she didn't believe it was like that...
..After all she was just a doll.

♦Followed by that, it was just darkness♦

Chavvot #storytime

Jimmy’s family had moved into a new home.
Jimmy was delighted to be surrounded by the adorable furniture and lots of toys.
Outside, it was snowing. ..Just then,

Jimmy spotted a girl with a puppy dashing around on the ice.

Jimmy immediately took a great liking to this girl.
That’s because she was smiling in the most charming way.
Jimmy worked up his courage and called out to her.
When he did, the girl noticed Jimmy,
and waved him over, as if to say, “Come here, come here!”
Jimmy was so pleased that he started running.
But, to his surprise, there was a pitfall under the snow.
“Oww! Wah!” Jimmy started crying in pain.
But then, the girl reached down her hand from the top of the hole.
When Jimmy saw her cute smile, he soon forgot all about the pain.
Jimmy said to the girl, “Let’s play.”
But the girl just smiled at him, and didn’t answer.
The girl could not hear, so she didn’t know what he said.
Jimmy wanted somehow to convey his feelings,
so he ran,
and fell down,
and played in the snow,
and laughed,
and the girl did what Jimmy was doing.
Jimmy was very happy.
He didn't yet know her name,
but he felt somehow that the two of them would get along very well.
That evening, Jimmy told his mom what had happened.
His mom told him that the girl’s name was Chavvot.
As Jimmy drank his hot cocoa,
he kept repeating, “Chavvot, Chavvot,” again and again.
“Someday, I’ll convey my feelings to her,”
he promised to the stars in the night sky.
